The Mobiclip SDK can be provided to any company involved in the design, development and manufacture of platforms or end-user products for mobile phones, set-top boxes, display panels, toys, PMPs and other electronic devices requiring streamlined video playback.

- A “Video and Audio Playback” API

The Mobiclip API includes functions to decode video and audio frames : supply encoded data, and receive decoded data back. The Mobiclip API is flexible enough to let you integrate video playback in virtually any application. Playback features, such as main loop or audio-video sync, are managed by the application. We provide the source code of the reference player application for your platform. With this working demo it is easy to jump-start your development process and build the final application to match exact specifications.

- A cross Platform API

The Mobiclip API is totally platform independent. It does not use any OS or hardware layer. It does not even allocate memory by itself. Every connection with the OS or hardware, such as image display or audio output, is accomplished by the calling application. You can see how this is done in the source code of the reference player application for your platform.

- An « easy to handle » API

Beyond the core features, the Mobiclip Decoder SDK provides sample code and support for common multimedia
player tasks such as streaming, fast forward/fast rewind, bookmarks, custom image effects and much more.
